Module III — Cointegrating Spaces

If B = span(β_1, …, β_r), many bases of the same space are equivalent. Identification, normalisation, basis rotation, representation ambiguity.

Unique process — Cointegrating space ≠ unique basket

A cointegrating space can admit multiple equivalent bases. Sparse solutions are sensitive to that rotation.
